Haziza Santa Monica to Host Rise And Shine : The Counter Inaugural Ball
On January 15th, 2005, Haziza Santa Monica will host Rise and Shine : The Counter Inaugural Ball, a group artists show that bridges the gap and unites all styles of art and expression.
Featuring painting, sculpture, photography, live music, spoken word, poetry and interactive art, as well as music by DJ Goodfoot, the event brings together artists from all walks of life to express themselves and interact positively and creatively on the eve of the presidential inauguration.
Featured artists and performers include Daphne Khoury, Jay Whitcomb, Shlomi Haziza, Joanne Maite, Bob Anthony, Sayoko, Len Aaron, Rebecca Wachtel, Oscar Jimenez, eEvil Ink Design, Sonik Mercury, Shawn Pander, Jason Luckett, Tina Schlieske, Infrared Sunday, Abraham Delacey, Emjay Olson, Michelle Bryant, and more.
The event is free and complimentary refreshments will be served. In lieu of a cover charge, donations for Direct Relief International's Tsunami Relief Fund will be accepted. A southern California based non-profit organization, Direct Relief International has pledged that donations for tsunami relief will be used only for that purpose and not to cover administrative costs or other efforts.
